Apply your eye goggles. Now you are ready to use the Grout removing tool. Make sure the blade is attached tightly. Cut away at the grout between the tiles, being careful not to scratch the adjacent tiles. When all the grout has been removed as much as possible, clean up the loose grout with the Wisk broom and dust pan.
Mix your tile grout according to manufacturer directions on the package in the small plastic bucket, using the required clear water that is in the 5 gallon bucket. Apply the tile grout with the sponge float, start in the corner and work on out of the project. Never start near you and work away from you. There will be no where to lean or kneel once you cover a large area and you will be trapped in your own project. Make sure the grout has filled each tile crevice. Do not overfill the crevices; you will only have to wash off that much more grout.
Now that your grout has been applied, let dry thoroughly for 24 hours. You can tell when the grout is dried; it will become a shade lighter than when it was first applied.
Using the 2 gallon water buckets, take the sponge in hand and place it in the clear warm water bucket and squeeze out some of the water. Place the sponge on the floor and wipe in a whisking motion to remove the old grout film that is present. Rinse the sponge in the second bucket, not the clear warm water one and repeat these steps until all grout film and residue are removed.
Apply your sealer according to directions with the applicator. Let dry thoroughly. Enjoy your new beautiful ceramic tile!
